Here is the list of the areas we would like to see some color/art added to.
Keep in mind this is an ideal list. We will need to scale down – PRIORITIZE AND SIMPLIFY!
I. SECOND HALL
a. Lockers

c. Doorways to outside
d. Window treatments on windows – trompe l’oile
e. Water fountain – maybe mirrors on all of them
f. Above lockers
g. Wall outside room 208 (McConnaughey)
h. Around bulletin boards
i. Remove red bulletin board to put something on that wall
j. Add benches to replace shelves that students sit on
k. Trash cans – paint
l. Removing gates
m. Above auditorium door
n. Street signs for hallways and outside
o. Place to safely display US art
II. THIRD HALL
A. Windows – trompe l’oile
B. Wall over lockers between room 303 and college counseling office 0- maybe do college themed art
C. Wall next to room 305 (Bayer)
D. Strings room
E. Doorways to outside
F. Over lockers
G. Bathroom – male and female signs over doors
H. Wall next to band room – art display are ro remove bulletin board to do artwork
III. Courtyard between 2nd and third halls
a. Trash cans
b. Walkway between building
c. More seating
d. Outside art room/physics room
e. Paint on sidewalks
f. Wall outside Dawson’s room
IV. Courtyard outside Mrs. Arjona’s room
a. Shades on shop and Mrs. Arjona’s room with art on one side that can be seen from courtyard.
b. Square cut out wall – put something in squares

a. Paw prints around like cows
b. Painting wall for clubs /classes to use

VI. Dining hall
a. Tree mural/ walker family tree

The strings room, as mentioned in the outline, looks really sad. Everytime I pass the room it always looks so empty and blank. It can definitely be pumped up with some decoration and color themed in orchestra whatnots. We could paint a flowing mural of string instruments on the walls... or whatever-- just something to make things more exciting and happier to be alive. I believe the energy of the school will be increased once we begin adding new life into the school through our art projects. :]
